Cold Beer

Everybody knows a cold beer is better than a luke warm beer or even one served at ambient temperature. In fact chilled is the only way to serve most modern beers, with the obvious exception being the more traditional cask ales still available in many public houses. Click here for our cask stuff.

So why should you make sure your beer is chilled? Well, should you need convincing and we’re almost certain you won’t, here are a few pointers:

    Taste - cold beer tastes much better, go on try it, take a sip from an ambient (room temperature) can or bottle when you get back from the supermarket, now bob it in the fridge for a few hours and try it again. SEE!
 
 
  Ease of pouring - warm beer tends to froth much easier than beer that is being poured at the correct temperature.

    Refreshment levels - cold drinks are widely acknowledged to provide superior refreshment, especially on a hot summers day. Perhaps with the only exception to this being a nice cup of tea!
